For the processing of personal data collected in connection with the use and communication of the XING company pages maintained by us, the responsible parties are SecondSol GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "SecondSol") and partly New Work SE, Dammtorstrasse 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany, as the operator of the XING platform in the EU and the European Economic Area (hereinafter referred to as "XING"). Purposes and Legal Bases
SecondSol processes personal data in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR and national data protection regulations. Representation of Content
If SecondSol's content contains personal data (e.g., names or photos), we will inform the respective individuals about the publication and processing on this page when collecting the data and, if necessary, obtain their consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1)(1) German Federal Data Protection Act (TTDSG)). If this is not the case, we process the personal data of the respective user for the operation of this presence. We process this data based on our predominant legitimate interest in providing relevant content to our users and followers on the XING platform and enabling them to use our XING page and its functionalities (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
User Communication
Information that users communicate to us via direct messages on the XING platform (e.g., username, name, profile picture, contact details, or a message to us - "communication data") is processed in order to effectively handle the user's inquiries or to communicate with the user in that regard. The legal basis for data processing is then Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
SecondSol stores the communication data for as long as it is necessary for communication purposes. Additionally, we only store your communication data to pursue or defend against legal claims or to fulfill any legal retention obligations.
Community Function
Users of the XING page can also choose various integrated community functions to interact with us, such as following our XING page, liking, posting, retweeting, commenting, or other active usage actions. We also receive your personal data when you use certain hashtags or when we share your XING posts. The personal data we process in this case is only the data that you publish on the XING platform that is visible to us and to any other users ("community data").
The community data includes, for example, your username and the content you publish through your profile if you have made this visible to us in your privacy settings on the XING platform. We do not receive usage data from the background (such as your IP address, device number, or non-public information) or other "hidden" data from you or from XING.
Data Processing by XING
The data collected about you when using the service is processed by XING Inc. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. This includes, among other things, your IP address, the application used, information about the device you use (including device ID and application ID), information about visited web pages, your location, and your mobile service provider. This data is associated with your XING account or your XING profile.

As the provider of the company page, we do not collect or process any data from your use of our messaging service.
You have the option to restrict the processing of your data in the general settings of your XING account as well as under "Privacy and Security." Additionally, you can restrict XING's access to contact and calendar data, photos, location data, etc., in the settings of mobile devices (smartphones, tablet computers). However, this depends on the operating system used.
